JUDITH "JUDY" M. ROWLAND

Marion–Judith "Judy" M. Rowland 74 passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 5:15 P.M. at her home, under the care of hospice, surrounded by her family.

Judy was born on January 25, 1949 in DuQuoin the daughter of John and Julia (Dalrymple) Vercellino. She married Charles "Bud" Rowland on July 8, 1967. He preceded her in death.

Judy worked for Bombardier Motor Corp. for 20 plus years as a salesman. She got to travel and see many amazing places and met several people along the way. Judy enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter especially going shopping and out to eat. Her grandchildren were her world. She also enjoyed spending time with her 2 puppies Little One and Charlie, they brought her so much joy.

She is survived by one daughter, Julie Dawes and husband Kevin of Sumterville, FL; a grandson, Garrett Ramsey; a granddaughter, Makenna Claycamp; a great granddaughter, Kennady Ramsey; sister-in-law's, Sue Vercellino, of Valier, Judy Vercellino of Valier, Katie Rowland of Christopher, Sheryl Robinson and husband Dennis of Rolla, MO; brother-in-law, Steve Rowland and wife Vicki of Christopher; and several nieces and nephews.

She also had a bonus daughter, Dana Gregory that she thought of as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jon and Bobby Vercellino; brother-in-law, Mike Rowland; mother-in-law, Helen Rowland; and father-in-law Steve Rowland.

Judy's wishes were to be cremated and not to have any services.

Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
