KENNETH LOUIS SINE

Kenneth Louis "Kenny" Sine passed away at 1:15 A.M. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at integrity Healthcare in Marion.

He was born on October 11, 1949 in Herrin to Carl Louis and Josie (Palovic) Sine.

He attended St. Paul's Catholic School, Johnston City High School, and Southern Illinois University.

He was formerly employed by the City of Johnston City and spent later years working all over town for various people. He also volunteered for several years at the JC Manna Mission.

He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his sister Carla Nolen and husband Tom of Herrin; nephews Matt Bacon (Summer) and their children Grace, Lukas, and Jack, all of Bowling Green, KY, and Emmalea of Herrin, Steven Bacon (Shannan) and their children, Luella and Delaney, all of Arvada, CO; paternal aunts Arlene Baker of Johnston City, and Evelyn Smith of Phoenix, Az, and several cousins.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday March 20, 2021, in the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City with Fr. Brian Barker officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Murman & Wilson Funeral home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
