KENNITH E. "CHICO" HAMLIN

Pittsburg-Kennith E. "Chico" Hamlin, 66, of Pittsburg passed away at 8:50 A.M. on Monday March 11, 2013 at his daughter's home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 13, 2013 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. by the Lake Creek Masonic Lodge #729 of Johnston City.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the First Nazarene Church of Marion. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Kennith was born on January 29, 1947 in Johnston City the son of Terrill Hamlin and Violet (Earnheart) Farris.

Kennith was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters 604 of St. Louis, the Shriners, and the Lake Creek Masonic Lodge #729 of Johnston City. He attended the First Nazarene Church of Marion.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Holly, Heather, and Mickie Brady and husband Mark of Pittsburg; 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Emily and Kaylee; 2 sisters, Sharron Hamlin of Macon, GA, and Judith Lowe of Marion; 2 brothers, Terrill Wesley Hamlin of West Frankfort, and Stephen Bruce Hamlin of Johnston City; best friend, Janet "Queen" Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; Michael H. Hamlin; and a grandson Brandon Brady.
