KEVEN SCILUFFO

Keven Douglas Sciluffo, 51

We are honoring the memory of our brother, Keven, so that together we may acknowledge and share both our joy in the gift that his life was to us, and the pain that his passing brings. In sharing the joy and the pain together, may we lessen the pain and remember more clearly the joy.

Keven was just 51 years old when he passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Herrin hospital. He was born on December 26, 1967 in Elgin, Illinois to Santo and Barbara (Tuescher) Sciluffo. Keven grew up in Lake In The Hills, Illinois and moved to Johnston City, Illinois where he has lived for the past 24 years.

Keven was very close to his family, to his friends, and his beloved cats. As an Autobody Mechanic, Keven worked hard, but he also enjoyed his life and working on old muscle cars. He loved to joke around, laugh and BBQ in the backyard. He loved to fish, hunt deer, turkey and geese. There are a lot of stories about hunting and fishing, but I'm afraid that that those stories will have to stay with those who enjoyed those adventures with him. Sometimes it was suspected that Keven may have found a nice spot under a tree and maybe did more napping than hunting.

Brother – Nick and Rachel Sciluffo of Johnston City.

Sister – SusAnna Cook of Johnston City. Niece's – Nicole (Cook) and Austin Beckett of Fort Campbell, KY. nnaMarie Cook and Cory Richard, and great niece EmiliAnna, and great nephew Cole Russell of Marion, IL.

Sister's- Kathy and Fred Corzine of Johnston City, and several nieces and nephews. Barbara Streit and Nephew Wesley Streit of Herrin, IL along with several nieces. Gina and Alex Patchett, of Marion, IL and several nieces.

Brother's – Frank and Patricia Sciluffo of Wonder Lake, IL and several nephews. Joseph Sciluffo of Crystal Lake and Dominick Sciluffo and a nephew of Elgin, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Robert.

Keven had requested that no services be held, and that his ashes be scattered by his parents, and where he loved to hunt and perhaps napped.
