CLIFTON "KIP" EUGENE LITTON

Johnston City–Clifton "Kip' Eugene Litton 91 passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 4:15 P.M. in Helia in West Frankfort.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Father Mark Reyling officiating. Entombment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with graveside military rites conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion, and U.S. Air Force Burial Detail. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Kip was born on November 14, 1930 in West Frankfort the son of Wilse and Lela (Vitatoe) Litton. He married Diane C. (Ruzich) on April 12, 1958 in Johnston City. She preceded him in death on February 2, 2004.

Kip was an owner and operator of Kip's Tires in Johnston City. He was a veteran of the Korean War proudly serving in the U.S. Airforce. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City. He was a member of the Buccaneer's Club of Johnston City.

He is survived by four daughters, Lisa Murphy and husband Steve, Sherry Dailey and husband George, Carrie Mueller and husband Bill, and Cindy Banks; grandchildren, Chad Banks and wife Mallory, Christina Romines and husband Randall, Billie Jo Hubbard and husband Barry, Renee Dudley and husband Jeremy, Andrea Rinella and fiancé Jason Barnhart, Shawn West, Zack Murphy; great grandchildren, Brianna Milner, Gracie West, Tristen Wells, Erica Wells, Aiden Dudley, Carter Banks, Camden Banks, Brian Romines, and Lilly Romines; great-great grandchild, Dawson Wells.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and eleven brothers.
