LANZORETH GIBSON

Johnston City-Arthur Edward Stapleton AKA Lanzoreth "Ozzie" Gibson, 55 passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Heartland Regional Hospital in Marion.

He was born on October 19, 1966 in Oak Park the son of Carolyn and Forrest C. Stapleton.

Ozzie lived in Johnston City. He had amazing talent of an artist. He became a tattoo artist. He loved to travel with his dog, Gigi and tattooing. He also enjoyed collecting agate and crystal rocks.

He is survived by his father, Forrest C. Stapleton; one son Lanzereth V.  Stapleton and wife Andrea; two grandsons, Lanzereth Jr and Maximus; two granddaughters, Aurelia and Athena; brothers and sisters, William Stapleton and wife Jessica, Loretta Burling and husband Doug, Christina Fox and husband Tom, Forrest Allen Stapleton and wife Rebecca, Jamie Ellis and husband Clint; nine nephews; thirteen nieces; two great nephews; and three great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Jo Stapleton; grandparents, William and Margaret Herzog and Arthur E. and Dorothy Stapleton.

He was loved by all including many friends local and far.

Cremation rites and celebration of life to follow with immediate family.
