LARRY LEE ESTES
Stiritz–Larry Lee Estes 68, of Stiritz, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11:55 P.M. at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Larry was born on November 8, 1942 in West Frankfort the son of Jesse and Helen Caroline (Singer) Estes. He married Brenda (Proffer) on March 15, 1968.
Larry served his country in the army and was a coal miner for 21 years. He was a member of the U.M.W.A.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; two daughters, Angela and Fiancé Robert Vickers and Carrie and Fiancé Joe Yates; and two grandchildren; Kylee and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday August 3, 2011, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Greg Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Larry was a loving husband, great dad, and a special paw-paw. May you soar with angels.
