Larry Max Perry

(August 27th 1943 – August 26th 2026)

Larry Max Perry 82 of Jacksonville, FL. Formally of Herrin, IL passed away peacefully at 2:45 A.M. at his home on August 26 with his daughter and son in law by his side just one day before his 83 birthday.

Max was born August 27th, 1943 in Goreville to Ralph Perry and Melba Genel Wright. He married Cheryl Perry and were together over 50 years until her death on December 12, 2018. He is survived by a son; Larry A. (Angela) Perry of Johnston City, a daughter; Laura A. (Garry) Auton of Jacksonville, FL, two grandkids; Jarred Perry of Johnston City, and Ashton (Stan) Hernandez of Johnston City, four great grandkids; Kensley Perry, Kassidi Perry, Karter Perry, Mia Perry Hernandez of Johnston city, one brother; Wex Perry of Macon Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers; Rex, Tex, and Frank Perry, a sister; Judy Webb, and several brother and sister in laws.

Max worked as an Insulator for over 25 years first with J & P insulation then at Volunteer Services. He was huge St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Per his request there will be no services. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
