LAWRENCE "PI" BLAINE CRABTREE

Johnston City-Lawrence "PI" Blaine Crabtree 74 passed away on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 5:00 A.M. at his family home.

He was born on July 8, 1944 to Dewey and Elizabeth Crabtree.

On March 15, 1969 he married Judy Beavers who would become his best friend forever.

He is survived by daughters, Lori Raubach and husband Randy of West Frankfort, Melissa and fiancé Scott Mees of Carbondale; son, Greg and wife Thelma of Johnston City; granddaughter, Chelsey and husband Tyler; great grandchildren, Ansley and Avery Yager; granddaughter, Tiffany Heyder and Jeff; great grandchildren and best buddies, Kalin and Avery.

He will be greatly missed by his casino buddy and sister-in-law, Barbie and brother-in-law, Pat and their children, Whitney and Matthew Blaine; good friend and sister-in-law, Carol Crabtree of Corinth; his sisters, Betty Imhoff and Pat McLaughlin of Johnston City; and many nieces, nephews, countless friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dewey, Troy, and Kenny; and a sister, Sue.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Halfway Road, Marion, IL 62959.

Per PI's wishes there will be no services and he will be cremated.

Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
