LILLIAN I. "IZZY" PERSCHBACHER Johnston City-Lillian I. "Izzy" Perschbacher 85, of Johnston City, passed away at 10:38 A.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in her family home. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Dan McKinnies and Pastor Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Izzy was born on May 20, 1928 in Herrin the daughter of Jesse and Lelia (Long) Bailey. She married Charles "Blue" Perschbacher on August 29, 1953 in Cook County. Izzy was a homemaker. She loved the Lord and liked to donate to charities. She was a member of Christian Covenant Fellowship in Carterville. She is survived by her husband and beloved dog "Bubba" of Johnston City; two granddaughters, Christy Hottes of DuQuoin and Misty Perschbacher and special friend Bobby Webb of Johnston City; three great grandsons, Christopher Hottes, Toby Hottes, and Brenden Perschbacher; one great granddaughter, Isabella "Lil Izzy" Webb; one brother, Clyde Bailey of Herrin; two sisters, Janie Spinks of Herrin and Cheryol Rodriguez and husband Rudy of Herrin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins all which she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Toby Perschbacher.
