LINDA JO MELVIN
Linda Jo Melvin, 52, of Paducah, died at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday at her home.
Born in Marion, Illinois, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Scott Melvin, her mother, Janet Gulley Parrish, of Johnston City, Illinois, her father, Edward E. Krantz, of West Frankfort, Illinois, 4 daughters, Tonya Mangan, of Illinois, Stephanie Smith, of Denver, Colorado, Samantha Smith, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Misty Melvin, of West Frankfort, Illinois, and 1 son, Joshua Melvin, of West Frankfort. Other survivors include 5 sisters, Debbie Wright, Paula Krantz, and Diane Borchert, all of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Christy Ticer, of Johnston City, and Nancy Roye, of Marion, Illinois, 1 brother, Mike Krantz, of West Frankfort, along with several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, Illinois with the Rev. Edward Alsip officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City.
