LISA KAY EDWARDS

Carterville-Lisa Kay Edwards, 56 passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Saint Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Donnie Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Lisa Kay was born on May 15, 1965 in Marion the daughter of William and Velda Smith. She married Howard Edwards on July 5, 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Edwards; two daughters, Samantha Delso and husband Mike of Herrin and Ashley Parson and husband Michael of Pittsburg; one son, James Edwards of Herrin; grandchildren, Sheanna, Victoria, Adam Delso Jr., Elizabeth, Dakota, baby James from Marion, Paisley Edwards from Anna, Matthew Hawkins, and Emily Edwards; four brothers, Ricky Smith of Marion, William Smith and wife Kristina of Paulton, Steve Smith of Marion, and Johnny Smith and wife Amanda of Pittsburg; one sister, Teresa Smith of Colp; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Velda Smith; sisters, Virginia Leeper, Angel Conway, Kelly Craig, Becky Smith, Jenny Smith, and Janny Smith; and a granddaughter, Angel Delso.

Lisa enjoyed being at home with her husband, kids, and grand kids. She was a yard sale queen in her spare time. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
