LOIS E. LEE
Corinth-Lois E. Lee, 92, of Corinth, passed away at 3:57 A.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 in her family home.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday March 3, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery east of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
Lois was born on October 19, 1921 in Rockton the daughter of Leonard W. and Edna (Grant) Tigwell. She married Harry Lee Jr. in 1942 in Tempe, AZ and where married for 57 years until his death.
Lois graduated from Rockford Memorial Hospital in 1943. She worked as an R.N. for 40 years at the V.A. Hospital and as an office nurse for Dr. Rupprecht, Dr. Baker, and Dr. Ravin. She was a member of the Corinth Methodist Church.
She is survived a son, Scott Lee of Corinth; a daughter, Linda Boylan and husband Ray of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Lyndsey Lee, Leslie Lee, Tyler Lee, and Matthew Boylan; great grandsons, Sylus Tyler Lee and Shaw Scott Lee; and a nephew, Gerald Kurth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Grant Tigwell; and two sisters, Joyce Sampson and Carol Kurth.
