Mrs. Lois Jean McIntosh (née Mattson), of Dallas, TX, formally of Johnston City IL, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 82.

Lois was born to parents John and Lois Mattson on October 27, 1935 in Everett, WA. She married William McIntosh on November 16, 1956 in Everett, WA.

Lois is survived by her son, Richard McIntosh, his wife Amy McIntosh and their children, Quincy and Campbell, all of Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, William McIntosh; her parents John and Lois Mattson; her siblings, James Bulette, Floyd Bulette, William Mattson and Edward Mattson

In addition to being a wife and mother, Lois had many interests. She enjoyed sewing, genealogy, photography and roller skating to name a few. She was a hard-working individual who loved her co-workers. She often volunteered in her community and church.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Stephen Hudspath officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City.
