LORRAINE P. MUSIAL

Johnston City–Lorraine P. Musial (Nee Glad), age 103 born October 17, 1922 passed away on 01/14/2026.

Lorraine's husband Walter of 65 years died in 2011.

She was retired having worked as a secretary for Borg-Warner Corp in Chicago for 25 years. After retiring she moved back to Johnston City into the same home where she was born. Lorraine worked as a volunteer at the V.A. Hospital in Marion for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and Peter Glad; three brothers, Pete, Tony, and Edward, and one sister, Frances Galbreath.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Musial and wife Sandra of Newark, California and her daughter, Marilyn Durano of Johnston City; four grandsons, Scott Durano and wife Cherene of Peotone, Daryl Durano and wife Melissa of Myrtle Beach S.C., Paul Musial and wife Ann of Newark CA, and Carmen Musial and wife Frances of Newark C.A, Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Lorraine's wish would be for donations to go to St. Paul's Parish in Johnston City for masses. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital in Tennessee.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 24, 2026, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City with Fr. Francis Tambala officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Burial will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City.
