Johnston City-Louise Valco 93 passed away at 4:37 P.M. Monday October 14, 2024 at the Helia Healthcare in Energy.

There will be a private family service. The Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Louise was born on January 11, 1931 in Johnston City the daughter of Joe Oscar and Adeline (Allen) Pledger. She married Harold "George" Valco on August 29, 1950 in Herrin. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1990.

Louise worked as a tax assessor for Williamson County. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Marion.

She is survived by a son, Mike Valco of Carterville; and a daughter, Teresa Valco of Murray, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; and 1 brother.
