MARGARET TOWERS

Johnston City–Margaret Towers 70, of Johnston City, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 12:35 A.M. at her family home.

Margaret was born on August 11, 1939 in West Frankfort the daughter of Robert and Alpha (Marrs) Leamen.

Per her request there will be private services. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was a full time homemaker until her kids were raised and then a teacher's aid at Christopher Community High School from 1985 until she retired in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Rob Dismang and wife Bonnie of Mt. Vernon, and Andrew Towers and wife Dusty of Johnston City; one sister, Carol Jones and husband Dale of Johnston City; a sister-in-law, Charlene Leamen of Johnston City; grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, Anna Dismang and Jacob Dismang of Mt. Vernon, Whitni and Sierra Towers of Johnston City; two great grandchildren, Kadence and Jaxon Wilson of Mt. Vernon; and a niece, Kathy Trent of Johnston City; and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Clarence Dismang and Robert Towers; four brothers Luther Dean Leamen, Bobby Gene Leamen, Carl Dwayne Leamen, and Ronal W. Leamen; one infant brother; and one sister, Betty (Leamen) Trent.
