MARIE "REEDIE" ROGERS
Pittsburg–Marie "Reedie" Rogers 96 passed on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at 3:27 P.M. in the West Side Care Center in West Frankfort.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday June 2, 2023, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Reedie was born on October 8, 1926 in Pittsburg the daughter of George and Mary (Knolls) Evrard. She married Cevil "Tip" Rogers who preceded her in death.
Reedie last worked for Smolers Dress Factory in Herrin.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Williams; a grandson, Russell Williams Jr.; 2 sisters, Dorothy Adams and Vivian Rogers.
