MARILYN ELAINE JERALDS
Johnston City-Marilyn Elaine Jeralds 83 passed away at 7:20 P.M. Sunday October 19, 2025 in the Deaconess Hospital in Marion.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday October 23, 2025 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Roger Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born on August 3, 1942 in Williamson County the daughter of Joel and Ruby (Chapman) Doering. She married Jesse E. Jeralds in April 25, 1970 in Hurst. He Survives.
Marilyn was a talented seamstress and puzzler. She loved baseball and was the March of Dimes Poster Child for the Greater St. Louis area.
She is survived by a son, Jonathan Jeralds, 2 daughter, Cindy Jones and husband Matt, Kelley Jo Jeralds; grandson, Dakota Jones; step-granddaughter, Amy Oxford; 2 great grandchildren, Payton and Zaeley; 2 sisters, Clara Mae Locascio, Areta Eisenhauer and husband Les; brother-in-law, Delbert Jeralds and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Sandy Byrne and husband Tim; sister-in law, Glendine Doering; brother-in-law, Ray Baine; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Robert Doering, Harold Doering, and Jim Doering; one sister, Carol Baine
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Johnston City Fire Department, March of Dimes, and the Johnston city Angel Tree.
