MARK ALLEN BAIER

Johnston City-Mark A. Baier 31, entered into Heaven Friday afternoon April 22, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born to Marlena Kay Wilkins & Max A. Baier on July 24th, 1984.
Mark was close with his cousins Jake & Faith as they were raised together by Lee Ann Black after the passing of his mother in 2001.Mark was the apple of his mother's eye. He helped care for his mother on a daily basis. He had a smile that would light up any room he walked into. He liked joking & playing pranks He never met a stranger, he had a heart of gold. As most know he was an avid fan of Batman. Movies were his passion, he had quite the collection. He was always willing to help anyone whenever he could.
Mark attended Family Worship Center in Johnston City when he was younger with his grandma, He often attended SIWC with his cousin Jake. He was a firm believer in Jesus Christ. His dog Fergie was his companion, to him she was his best friend. He & Jake were inseparable...growing up as well, up until the night before Marks passing. He was also very close with his cousin Cory. He was uncle Mark to Drake Dubree and Khloe Thompson, he loved them both so much. He gave us all many precious memories & touched many lives in a way no one else could, just by being "Mark" Spending time with family & friends was a must for him. He was loved by many & respected. He was employed by Taco Bell, where he was a role model & highly adored. He loved his job and the people he worked with.
His time on Earth wasn't very long but he is at his Eternal home with his Mother, grandmother & sister Erica Nicole.
Mark was survived by his Aunts Lee Ann Black of Marion. Kathy (John) Clarida of Marion. Sherry (Ed) LaBotte of Marion. Uncle John (Cindy) Thomas of Goreville. Step Brother John (Julie) Shepard of Herrin. Step Sister Brooke Shepard of Herrin. Grandfather Harold Wilkins of Johnston City. Cousins Faith (Josh) Dubree, Jake Thompson, Connie (Kevin) Holmes, John (Heather) Clarida, Bradley (Monica) Thomas,Garrett (Megan McGovern) Thomas, Sarah (Giden) Hutchcraft Austin Thomas, Ronda (Mark Harper) Davis. Special best friend Betsy Terry of Colorado.
Proceeding him in death were his mother Marlena Kay Wilkins. Grandmother Juanita Wilkins & sister Erica Nicole Brown. Visitation will be 11am-1pm at Murman Wilson funeral home in Johnston City on Wednesday April 27th, 2016, Service starting at 1p.m.with Pastor Brad Dexter officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations for expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
