MARK R. BRADY

Pittsburg–Mark R. Brady 55, of Pittsburg passed away at 5:55 A.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday January 13, 2018, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made for his daughter's college education. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Mark was born on November 12, 1962, in Brockton, MA the son of Robert and Janet Ann (Weatherbee) Brady. He was married to Mickie (Groves) on June 2, 1984 in Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Marion. She survives.

Mark was an auto body man and mechanic. He retired as the manager of Ron Ward Chevrolet Body Shop in Herrin. He liked to hunt for arrowheads. He was an avid collector of many things.

He is survived by one daughter, Kaylee Brady; three sisters, Carol Brady of Pittsburg, Cathy Hendrickson of Marion, and Suzanne French of Pittsburg; mother-in-law, Jane Jones and husband George of Pittsburg; a father, Carrol Sims and wife Beverly of West Frankfort; a sister-in-law, Donna Shaw of Brockton, MA; a sister-in-law, Lee Ann Murphy of Johnston City; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brandon Joe Brady; brothers, Brian and Michael Murphy.
