MARK STEPHEN HEAD

Johnston City-Mark Stephen Head 68 passed away at 5:41 P.M. on Monday February 14, 2022 at home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Roger Teal officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mark was born on December 16, 1953 in Christopher the son of Charles Walter and Doris June (Knowles) Head. He married Terri (Casey) Head on July 16,1983 in Herrin. She survives.

Mark retired from Mincon in Benton as a journeyman machinist and tool & dye maker. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by two daughters, Shawndell Casey and Melanie Head; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Vicky Norrid and husband Edward; one brother, James Head and wife Jean; a brother-in-law, Garry Casey and wife Wendy; a sister-in-law, Sherrie Casey; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, John, and Paul; two brothers-in-law, Gary and Perry Casey.

Memorials may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
