MARY FRANCISCO

Johnston City–Mary Francisco, 87, of Johnston City passed away at 3:23 A.M. on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Helia Healthcare of Energy.

She is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Maxey and husband Jeff of Johnston City, and Beth Francisco of Johnston City, one son, Archie Francisco and wife Dee of Novato, CA; four grandchildren, Laura Francisco, Stephanie Francisco, Brooke Wright and husband Charles, and Brad Taylor and wife Catherine; four great grandchildren, Kallie McGuire, Jarrett Wright, Braden Taylor, and Kira Taylor; one brother, Gaston Ferbus and wife Linda of Portsmouth, VA; a son-in-law, Bob Brownlee of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was born on December 10, 1927 in Johnston City, the daughter of Archie and Clementine (Boilet) Ferbus. She married Henry Francisco on June 17, 1952 who preceded her in death on May 21, 1974.

Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Johnston City and served as a Nursery Director for over 50 years. She loved baby sitting and taking care of young children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sue F. Brownlee; and a brother, Baptiste Ferbus.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Johnston City. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
