MARY JANE ROBERTS

Johnston City-Mary Jane Roberts 65 of Johnston City passed away on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 3:20 A.M. at the Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 13, 2012 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Lee Petty officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Becker Cemetery in Johnston City.

Memorials may be made to the Johnston City Library. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Mary Jane was born on June 3, 1946 in Herrin the daughter of Walter and Anna Lorene (Edwards) Becker.

Mary Jane was a Registered Nurse for 30 years. She was an avid reader, bird watcher, and animal lover. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Johnston City.

She is survived by two daughters, Christina Bearden-White and husband Roy of Johnston City and Cheryl Beasley and fiancé Darryl Newbolds of Marion; four grandchildren, Jonathan Bearden-White, Victoria Long, Joshua Beasley, and Olivia Beasley; two great grandchildren, Gracie and Emma Long; one brother, Warren Duffy Becker and wife Judy of Johnston City; a nephew, Jeff Becker and wife Keri and their son Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
