(Agnes) Maureen Lee Kee 87 passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026 at 3:15 A.M. at Deaconess Hospital.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 5, 2026 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Johnston City with Fr. Francis Tambala officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with a meal at St. Paul’s Parish Center immediately following. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Maureen was born on February 15, 1939 in Johnston City, the daughter of Ralph and Eileen (Leonard) Lee. She married her high school sweet heart Vernon Kee on January 19, 1957. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2021.

Maureen worked in banking and secretarial work, when not a stay-at-home mom. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Parish. As a 1956 graduate of JCHS Maureen met her high school sweet heart with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Maureen is survived by her 3 children; son Scott (Karen); daughter Judi; son Tim (Rick); granddaughter Amanda (Greg) Youra; grandsons Andrew and Alex (Kelly), four great granddaughters; Brooklyn, Brynlee, Leilani, and Charlotte; five great grandsons Braxten, Braysen, Jacob, Miles, and Finnley; sisters-in-law Opal Avery and Judy Kee; Brothers-in-law Jerry (Gayle) Kee, Gene Whitlock, and Tony Vatovec; life long friend Russell DeBose; special cousin Therese Beavers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her loving dog Willow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law Imogene Kee and father-in-law Orville Kee; brother Ralph (Beverly) Lee; granddaughter Molly Jeanette; sisters-in-law Vera Bishop, Barbara Vatovec, Arnetta Whitlock; and brothers-in-law Jack Avery and George Kee.
