MELINDA "SIS" HILL

Johnston City-Melinda "Sis" Hill, 68, passed away at 7:15 A.M. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at home.

Sis was born on January 13, 1954 in Herrin the daughter of Billy D. Sr. and Margaret Jeanette (Arnold) Hill.

She was an avid reader. She worked at Allen Industries in Herrin. She was a graduate of JCHS Class of 1973

She is survived by 3 brothers, Billy Dean Hill Jr. and wife Jeanie of Johnston City, Bryan K. Hill and wife Sherri of Thompsonville, and Randy E. Hill and wife Kim of West Frankfort.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Steven K. Hill.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
