MICHAEL E. WILLIAMS
Goreville-Michael E. Williams, 66, of Goreville passed away at 8:50 P.M. on Monday June 6, 2011 in the V.A. Medical Center in Marion.
Michael was born on June 30, 1944 in Herrin the son of Jim and Mary Lou (Peebles) Williams.
He proudly served in the Army–Engineers during the European Theater. He was a retired mechanic last working for Fabick Machinery.
He is survived by his parents of Goreville; two sons, Kevin Williams and wife Heather of Marion; and Jeff Williams of Murphysboro; three grandchildren, Samantha, Bailey, and Jake; and one sister, Mary Jo Cutsinger and husband Jerry of Pittsburg
Services will be held on Friday June 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Chris Cutsinger officiating. Burial will be in the #8 Cemetery east of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Addus Adult Daycare. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
