Mollie M. Samples, 32, of West Frankfort, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her home in the early morning hours of April 19, 2026.

Very few words could ever fully describe someone so innocent, so pure, and so angelic. Mollie was truly someone special—a deeply loving and genuine soul. She was spunky, funny, and always authentically herself; she was, quite simply, a sharp little spitfire.

Welcoming her to her eternal life of bliss, is her loving grandmother, Shirley Rose; her two aunts, Carla Deaton and Tonya Ham; and her greatly missed older sister, Abbie Norman.

Her legacy of love continues ravingly through her father, John Walker; her mother, Nadine Rogers; and her younger sister, Emilie Walker. She is also survived by her step-siblings, Allie Rogers and Hayley Rogers, as well as her uncles and many cousins.
The family is deeply moved by the prayer and support that have made these arrangements possible.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with services to be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Simmons Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to come and pay the respects that Mollie so deserves. A memorial dinner is also being planned; the family will provide updates once the details are finalized.
