MYRTLE WALKER
Zeigler-Myrtle Walker 88, of Zeigler passed away at 11:45 A.M. on Thursday March 3, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be held on Tuesday March 8, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will be in the Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Myrtle was born on June 17, 1922 in Broughton the daughter of Ed and Edith (Johnson) Price. She first married Shelva Randolph who preceded her in death in 1953. She later married Norman Walker who preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by one son, Garford Ray Randolph and wife Jo Ann of Zeigler; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; five sisters, Wanda Leffingwell of Ohio, Nora Wagley of Herrin, Imogene Lauderdale of Herrrin, Daisy Walker of Herrin, and Nancy Lauderdale of Texas; and one brother, Tom Price of Herrin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, P.I. Holt; four sons, Patrick Randolph, Laverne Randolph, Charles James Walker, Ronald Lee Randolph; and two brothers, James Price and Melvin Price.
