NANCY ANN JORDAN

Stiritz-Nancy Ann Jordan, 62, passed at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jason Thrash officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City.

Nancy was born on September 24, 1957 in Herrin the daughter of Steve J. and Mary Joan (Micheff) Lazorchak. She was married to Ed Jordan on May 29, 1982. He survives.

She is survived by brothers, John Lazorchak and wife Sherry, Randy Lazorchak and wife Brenda, Steve Lazorchak and Julie Rich, James Bishop; sister-in-law, Madaline Lazorchak; nieces and nephews, Joshua Lazorchak, Jessica Lenon and husband Darren, Quentin Lazorchak and wife Kayla, and Jason Adams; great nieces and nephews, Kalli Lazorchak, Gracelyn Lenon and Carson Lenon; 8 sister-in-laws; 1 brother-in-law; and many close friends who were like her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Lazorchak; niece, Hannah Lazorchak; grandmother, Helen Micheff "Nana"; and her precious fur babies, Mollie and Merlin.

Nancy was a blessing to her family and all who were lucky enough to know her. She was special in so many ways.

Nancy was a wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, granddaughter, aunt, great aunt, and friend to many. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Her smile would brighten any room and her laugh was unforgettable.

Nancy was a caregiver at heart. She took care of her mom when she was not well. She took care of her aunt Susie and then her brother Jerry. She would always go above and beyond for her family and friends.

Nancy worked as an Avon Representative for many years and quickly became a district manager for Avon because of her hard work and dedication. She then became a licensed beautician and opened her own beauty shop. She did this for several years. She was an amazing cook and could cook absolutely anything. She took her love of cooking and with Ed, they opened Wooden Spoon Catering. Together Nancy and Ed built a successful catering business. Whatever she did, she gave it 110% every moment of every day.

Nancy was the hardest working woman you could ever meet. She would always offer food to anyone who stopped by for whatever reason. No one left her house hungry.

Our world is a better place because she was in it. We are all incredibly blessed to have her in our lives. We will miss her terribly. She was a bright light in our world and is now an angel in Heaven.
