NEVA EDWARDS

Neva Edwards, 78, of Marion passed away at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 8:18 A.M.

She was born May 27, 1940 to Paul and Myrtle (Bundren) Edwards.

She is survived by her brother Kenneth Edwards and wife Shirley; nephews Michael Edwards and wife Traci, Jaime Edwards and wife Lisa; Great nieces and nephews Ashleigh Hilliard and husband Corey, Dustin Edwards and wife Emily, Landon Edwards, and Hannah Edwards; Great great niece Lexis Hilliard; Great great nephew Lane Hilliard; Uncle Wayne Edwards; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Myrtle (Bundren) Edwards.

Neva Graduated from Johnston City High school in 1958 as the Co-Valedictorian. She worked for the Illinois Department of Public Aid as a Case Worker for 42 years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Johnston City.

Visitation will be from 1:15 P.M. to 2 P.M. Sunday, February 3 at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. with Pastor Steve Higgs officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Becker Cemetery.
