NORMA F. DAWKINS

Royalton–Norma F. Dawkins 63, of Royalton passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 3:52 A.M. at her family home.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Monday November 8, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Jim Ebbs officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon on Monday.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Norma was born on June 18, 1947 in Union County the daughter of William F. and Oma Artileen (Johnson) Dixon. She married Kenneth B. Dawkins on October 16, 1967, he survives.

She was a CNA and liked to read and cook.

She is survived by four daughters, Vanessa Jones at home, Sherry Villanueva of Polk City, FL, Kim Anderson of Polk City, FL, and Norma J. Van Hoorebeke and husband Randy of Herrin; one son, Kenneth A. Dawkins and wife Tina of Valier; grandchildren, Jessica Andert of Valier, Joshua Van Hoorebeke of St. Louis, MO, Cody Van Hoorebeke of Herrin, Michelle Andert of Stricker, NY, Blake Smith of Washington, Amanda Andert of Stricker, NY, Rebecca Smith of Winter Haven, FL, Mistie Dawkins of Polk City, FL, Justine Anderson of Winter Haven, FL, Dyna O'Hara of Polk City, FL, Kenny Dawkins of Valier, Cheyenne Dawkins of Valier, Kaylee Dawkins of Valier, McKenzie Dawkins of Valier, Joshua Gray and wife Christa of Christopher, Kara Newell and husband Steve of Sesser; great grandchildren, Gage Newell of Sesser, Nevaeh Moore of Polk City, FL and Aiden Andert of Valier; brothers and sisters, Deloris A. Willmore and husband Guy of Benton, Jean Manny and husband John of West Frankfort, Peggy Searvert and husband Richard of Darien, GA, Nancy Mangrum of Pittsburg, Robert Dixon and wife Alica of Thompsonville, Luther Dixon and wife Paulett of Marion, Lillian Thompson and husband Marvin of West Frankfort, Martha McCraven and husband Joe of Jonesboro, Henry Dixon and wife Sherry of Marion, Thelma Glission and husband Keith of Paducah, KY, Myra McLaine and husband Leon of Ware, Mike Dixon and wife Bonnie of Herrin; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Taylor and husband Sherman of Carterville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William G. Dixon; and two brother-in-laws, Wilburn Owens and Donald Mangrum.
