NORMAN DEAN CARROLL SR.

Norman Dean Carroll Sr., 58, of Johnston City, passed away at 4:23 P.M. on Tuesday October 29, 2013, at Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 2, 2013 at the First Christian Church of Johnston City with Pastor Lee Petty officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Church. Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Johnston City. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Norman was born April 6, 1955, in Marion the son of Ulus Dean and Lois Louise (Williams) Carroll.

Norman was a restaurant manager. He loved model trains. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Johnston City.

He is survived by his parents of Johnston City; two sons; Norman Dean Carroll Jr. and wife Ashley of Norman, OK, and Jeffrey Carroll of Harrisburg; one daughter, Donna Carroll of Zeigler; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Cindy Pulsford and husband Joe of Johnston City; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dudley and Rhoda Carroll and Burl and Ruby Williams.
