NORMAN ALBERT LYELL

Johnston City-Norman Albert Lyell, 73 of Johnston City passed away at 7:33 P.M. on Saturday May 18, 2013 at his family home.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Norman was born on December 7, 1939 in Johnston City the son of James and Ellen (Davis) Lyell.

He was a retired from Goreville Concrete.

She is survived by his ex-wife, Alma (Cochrane) Clark of Johnston City; three sons, Donald Lyell and wife Jackie of Marion, Dale Lyell of Johnston City, and Jeffrey Lyell of Johnston City; one daughter, Debbie Watson of Johnston City; one grandson, Dustin Watson; five sisters, Linda Robertson and husband Leamon of Johnston City, Janet Cullum and husband Ken of Johnston City, Carolyn Davis and husband Don of Creal Springs, Kay Jochum of Marion and Jackie Lee and husband Mike of Johnston City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clarence Lyell; a sister, Sharon Owens; and an infant sister, Robbie Loraine Lyell.
