OLLIE MAE PAYNE
Johnston City-Ollie Mae Payne 74, of Johnston City passed away at 11:20 P.M. on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Services will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Charles Jennings and Pastor Brad Dexter officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Ollie was born on July 8, 1942 in Herrin the daughter of Raymond Grover and Betty Mae (Jeffery) Hall. She married Ronald W. Payne on August 21, 1959 in Marion. He survives.
Ollie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that took great pride in the success and accomplishments of her family. She was a very optimistic, enthusiastic woman that loved the Lord with her whole heart and shared that love with everyone she met. She attended the International College of Bible Theology graduating in 2003
Ollie was a member of the Family Worship Center.
She is survived by three sons, Mark Payne and wife Donna of Johnston City, Chris Payne of Johnston City, and Rory Payne and wife Betty of Johnston City; one daughter, Melissa Payne and fiancé Jim Dougan of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren, Ashley Caliper and husband Travis, Joshua Payne, Richard Raudenbush, Glen Bush and wife Alyssa, and Chris Bush; nine great grandchildren, Landon, Mariah, Makala, Paislee, Lilian, Addy, Emerson, Jaxson, Samuel; a brother-in-law, Bill Bush; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Judy Bush; and a great grandson Gabriel.
