ORLENE HARGAN
Johnston City–Orlene Hargan 86 passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 5:38 A.M. at home.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 28, 2023 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City with Fr. Tom Barrett officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Orlene was born on September 14, 1936 in Christopher the daughter of Orlando and Mamie (Sanders) Overturf. She married Wayne F. Hargan on March 11, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2016.
She was a R.N. and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Paul Hargan of St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Patti Martin and husband Ron of Johnston City; daughter-in-law, Tina Hargan of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Dr. Megan Leitzen and husband Matt of Johnston City, Mallory Martin of Johnston City, Matthew Hargan of St. Louis, MO, Makenzie Hargan of St. Louis, MO, Molly Hargan of California, Lacey Steinkamp and husband Jon of Evansville, IN; great grandchildren, Brennan Hayes and wife Kelly of Johnston City, Kadyn Martin of Johnston City, Marcus Leitzen and Miles Leitzen of Johnston City; and a great-great granddaughter, Brinkley Hayes of Johnston City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Hargan; and a granddaughter, Mindy Martin.
Memorials may be made to Carinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Envelopes will be available at the church.
