OTIS LEO BURNETT

West Frankfort–Otis Leo Burnett, 65 of West Frankfort passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 12:49 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City on Monday April 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Leeland Hale officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Otis was born on January 18, 1945 in Pittsburg the son of Alta and Lula (McCombs) Burnett.

Otis is survived by three daughters, Monique Burnett of West Frankfort, Jessica Burnett of West Frankfort, and Dena Lynn Burnett of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Justin Freeman and Mercedez Hale, and one on the way; three sisters, Peggy Owens of West Frankfort, Sue Swofford of Coello, and Darla Burnett of Johnston City; two brothers, Merle Burnett of Marion, and Donald Leo Ragsdale of Johnston City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles Burnett and James Lee Burnett.
