OTIS GENE "OTEY" BRYMER

Johnston City–Otis Gene "Otey" Brymer 70, of Johnston City passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:55 P.M. at the Parkway Manor in Marion.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday.

Otey was born on April 3, 1940 in Johnston City the son of Otis and Virginia (Miller) Brymer.

He was an auto body repairman and a truck driver.

He is survived by a special companion, Gloria Farmer of Johnston City; 3 sons, Paul Brymer of North Carolina, Lonnie Brymer and wife Tara of Johnston City, and Jodi Brymer and Misty Stanley of Johnston City; 5 grandchildren, P.J., Logan, Paige, Peyton, and Lux; brothers, Charles "Bud" Brymer of Johnston City, and Larry Brymer and wife Marjorie of Anna; sisters, Claydene Beeks of Columbia, SC, Sandra Debord of Selma, IN and Marsha McNeill and husband Gary of Huntsville, AL; an uncle Clyde Brymer of Johnsotn City; several nieces and nephews; and life long friends, Bob and Dorothy Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
