PASTOR DONALD LEE BROWN

Johnston City–Pastor Donald Lee Brown 69 of Johnston City joined the kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 he left this world at 7:19 P.M. in the Herrin Hospital surrounded by family.

Donald was born May 5, 1950 in Chicago the son of Vestor and Suzie (Tonaka) Brown. He married Wanda Bernice (Caplicki) Brown on June 29, 1975.

Don is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, Rick Krieger; brothers, Hank Brown and Al Brown Jr.; as well as the many people whose lives he touched. He was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike Brown.

Don was a faithful servant to our Lord as the pastor of The Church of God in West Frankfort.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at The Church of God in West Frankfort, 1119 Newport Road West Frankfort, at 1:00 P.M. with Brother Cannon officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the church. The doors will be open to family and loved ones at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
