PATRICIA J. SHEHORN

Fort Wayne–Patricia J. Shehorn, 74 of Fort Wayne, IN, Passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 4:00 A.M. at the Covington Manor Nursing Center in Fort Wayne, IN.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City, with a prayer service conducted by Sr. Catherine Wellinghoff. Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to donor's choice. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.

Patricia was born on September 2, 1935 in Alpena County, MI the daughter of Donald Shenk and Ida Rounds.

Patricia worked as a tax consultant with Nation Wide Tax Service for 10 years, retiring in 1976 and was previously employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 10 years. She was a volunteer tax consultant for senior citizens for several years.

She is survived by her sons, Keith D. Swartzentrover and wife Patricia of Johnston, RI, James D. Swartzentrover and wife Beverly of Taylor, MI, Phillip C. Swartzentrover and wife Vickie of Creal Springs, IL; sisters, Beverly Joan Skyles of Johnston City, Katherine Machel and husband Stephan of Taylor, MI; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jane Shenk of Weidman, MI; special friends, Don and Barb Pelkie of Fort Wayne,IN and Leonard Moser of Fort Wayne, IN; .

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald L. Shenk; and niece, Carrie Clark.
