PATRICIA MARIE THOME

Benton- Patricia M. Thome, 89, of Benton passed away surrounded by family at 3:30 AM, Tuesday October 16, 2018, at Herrin Hospital.

Patricia was born on October 5, 1929 in Johnston City the daughter of  William and Lulu (Doering) Daub. She married Edward Thome on August 21, 1948 at Wesley Methodist Church in Chicago.

Patricia was a member of Stiritz Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Thome and wife Daina of Creal Springs, Kevin Thome and wife Vanessa of Stiritz, a daughter Jane Gulledge and husband Gordan of Plant City, FL; Grandchildren Jennifer Willis, Paige Beck, Kaitlin Gilfillan and husband Matthew,  Jason Gulledge and wife Megan, Aaron Gulledge, Ashley Jordan and husband John, Jami Gudeman and husband Seth, Jason Green and wife Kellie; Great grandchildren Dakota Compton, Jaeda Willis, Brier Beck, Dallas Gulledge, Tyler Gulledge, Clarissa Jordan, Kayson Jordan, Raiden Jordan, Kirsten Parke, Miles Gudeman, Caden Green, Kaisley Green; and several great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers Kenneth, Wayne, and Clyde, and three sisters Helen, Frieda, Lorene.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with Pastor Bryant Harris officiating. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
