PATRICK A. HIGGINS
Harrisburg-Patrick A. Higgins 58 of Harrisburg passed away at 8:58 A.M. on Sunday March 11, 2012 at his family home.
There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the Williams Prairie Cemetery east of Johnston City with Pastor Kermit Watkins officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion, and the Illinois Army National Guard. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City.
Patrick was born on August 23, 1953 in Phoenix, AZ the son of Harold James and Genevieve Rita (Olen) Higgins. He married Kimberly (Farmer) on March 17, 2010 in Harrisburg. She survives.
He was an electrician. He was a Vietnam Veteran proudly serving in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the Solid Rock Freewill Baptist Church of Johnston City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Maureen Clare Kowalczyk.
