PATRICK E. RANDOLPH
Johnston City–SFC (Ret) Patrick E. Randolph, 58 of Johnston City passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 12:01 A.M. at Herrin Hospital.
Services will be held at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Thursday March 25, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Eddie Donelson officiating. Burial will be in the #8 Cemetery east of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Illinois Army National Guard.
Patrick was born on June 17, 1951 in Herrin, the son of Shelva Randolph and Myrtle (Price) Walker. He has been married to Sandy (Armes) for 40 years. She survives.
Patrick retired as Sergeant 1st Class from the Army after honorably serving 21 years.
He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Walker of Zeigler; 1 daughter, Tina Marshall of Hammond, IN; 4 sons, Rick Randolph of Johnston City, Shelby Randolph of Johnston City, Justin Randolph and Brandy of Johnston City, and Matt Randolph wife April of N.J.; 5 grandchildren, William, Zander, Caiden, Riley, Tobias, and twins on the way Carter and Caylee; 1 brother, Garford Ray Randolph and wife Joanne of Zeigler; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shelva Randolph; his step-father, Norman Walker; 1 sister, P.I. Holt; 1 brother, Laverne Randolph; and one daughter-in-law, Donna (Randolph) Jack.
