PAUL MOCABY SR.

Paul Mocaby Sr., 87 passed away at home on September 29, 2024 at 3:54 A.M.

He was born November 3, 1936, in Corinth to Terelius and Allie (Rice) Mocaby. He was number 15 of 18 children born.

Paul married Margaete Griffith on May 31, 1957, and they celebrated 67 years together. They share 7 children; sons include Paul Jr., Patrick, Sam, and Jacob. Daughters include Robin Stebbins (deceased), April Werner, and Lynda Kellogg. They also share 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Paul was a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. He taught in several locations over the years. He was a favorite of his students, ranging from elementary age through college.

Per his request, no service. He donated to Southern Illinois University, his alma mater.

Paul's wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
