PEGGY J. RIDDLE

Herrin-Peggy Peggy J. Riddle, 75 of Herrin passed away at 5:30 A.M. Friday April 5, 2013 at her family home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday April 8, 2013 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Michael Neubert officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Peggy was born on September 13, 1937 in Johnston City the daughter of Floyd and Wilma (Smith) Reed. She married Ted Riddle on November 5, 1969 in Goreville. He survives.

Peggy was the past Vice President of Southern Illinois School Credit Union. She also worked for Norge in Herrin. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Herrin.

She is survived by her husband of Herrin three daughters, Robin Moore and husband Scott of Johnston City, Lela Mocaby and husband Paul of Walnut Hill, and Kim Newsome and husband John of Makanda; seven grandchildren, Shana Bebout and husband Nick, Robert S. Moore Jr., Jennifer Amaro and husband Brett, Amy Palmer and husband Randy, Adam Mocaby, Jason Newsome, and Ryan Newsome; six great grandchildren, Kay, Laynee, Dakota, Payton, Edelia, and Felicia; two sisters-in-laws, Hiroko Reed of Johnston City and Diane Reed Drefas of Tampa, FL; one brother-in-law, Bill Smith of Herrin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Floyd Reed Jr. and Charles E. Reed; and one sister, Phyllis Ann Smith.

She will be greatly missed by all.
