PHYLLIS JEAN (SCHAUBERT) ROSE
Johnston City-Phyllis Jean (Schaubert) Rose, 76 of Johnston City passed away at 10:03 A.M. Saturday January 19, 2013 in the Herrin Hospital
Phyllis was born on February 6, 1936 in Marion, the daughter of Pola and Kathryn (Cooper) Schaubert. She married Bertis Cain Rose on March 3, 1969 in St. Louis, MO and together they shared more than 43 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2013.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Burton of Johnston City and significant other Tom Via, Valerie Foutch and husband Randy of Marion; one son, Stephen Nowatski and wife Sherry of Crestwood, MO; five grandchildren; one sister, Paula Upshaw of Marion; two nieces, Becky Erby and Connie McVey of Herrin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; and one son.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
