RANDY JOE WILLIAMS

Johnston City–Randy Joe Williams 41, of Johnston City, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 12:44 A.M. at the Franklin Hospital in Benton.

Randy was born on November 16, 1969 in Benton the son of Ralph E. "Bodge" and Betty J. (Gaddis) Williams.

Randy worked in maintenance at General Dynamics and was a member of the Buccaneer's Club of Johnston City.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, who enjoyed the outdoors and loved to snow ski.

He is survived by his mother, Betty J. Williams of Johnston City; a brother, Rodney Williams and wife Sherry of Johnston City; a niece, Tiffany Limon and husband Joe of Houston Texas; a great niece, Angel; a great nephew Justin; nephew, Richie Stewart and wife Joy; niece, Lori Stewart; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday July 20, 2011, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Lee Petty officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Johnston City. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
