RICHARD EUGENE FELTS
Johnston City-Richard Eugene Felts found his way into God's arms Tuesday afternoon August 4, 2015.
He was born in 1924 in Johnston City.
He was the son of Esther and Irvin Felts whom preceded him death; along with his brother, Carl; two sisters, Lorraine and Lucille; and first wife, Martha.
Richard served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
In 1958 he married Georgia Campbell, who survives.
They have five children, Rich Felts and wife Kathy, Mike Felts and wife Rita, Judy Newell and husband Lance, Lisa Maisel and husband Mike; and Renee Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
They all loved their grandfather very much.
Richard was employed at GTE for 40 years and lived in the Chicago area. After retirement he moved back to Johnston City where he lived the remainder of his life enjoying hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage.
He was loved by many.

Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday August 7, 2015 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Barry Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lake Creek Cemetery in Johnston City with graveside military rites conducted by the Herrin American Legion, V.F.W., Freeman Spur American Legion, and Navy Ritual Team.
