RICHARD HOWELL
Johnston City-Richard Howell 65, of Benton passed away at 11:29 A.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with graveside military honors conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion, and Illinois Army National Guard Burial Team. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on June 2, 1952 in Herrin the son of Elmore and Almeda (Reed) Howell.
He was a painter and proudly served in the army.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Howell of Royalton; and a brother, Charles Howell and wife Betty of Granite City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jerry Howell; and a sister, Sharon Gude.
