RICHARD ALLEN THOMPSON

Johnston City–Richard Allen Thompson 64 passed away on Monday Api1 27, 2020 at 12:40 A.M. in Munford, TN.

Richard was born on July 22, 1955 the son of Wesley Morris Thompson and Carol (Bert) Thompson Clendenin. He married Kimbra Hubbard Thompson.

Richard was a retired postal worker at Carbondale for 30 years. He formerly served as a volunteer fireman in Johnston City. He loved spending time with his family (babies) and friends.

He is survived by two sons, Wesley Thompson and wife Tisha and Rusty Thompson and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Paige, Brenden, Madison, Libby, Zoey, and Marlee; two brothers, Kevin Thompson and wife Kendra and Mike Thompson and wife Zehra; a sister, Janice Thompson; brothers, Dwayne Clendenin and wife Niki and Kenny Clendenin and wife Wendy; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one infant brother, Steven Thompson.

Services will be held at a later date.
